I am trying to install postgreSQL 7.2 on windows 2000. I want to configure
Postgres to use a Unicode encoding.
I have extracted postgres_beta4.zip file for installation. Then i tried
initdb -E UNICODE
but it gives the following error.
initdb: MultiByte Support not enabled

between mySQL & postgreSQL, for building a checklist for converting existing perl/php
applications from mySQL to postgreSQL.
