NB: "theadmin" is the administrator user on this machine.
[1] I had Postgres 8.1 installed a while ago. Haven't used it in a while.
I uninstalled it before attempting to install 8.4.

That said, i believe the text/prompt that asks for password in the
installer is clear enough to avoid any confusion. Cant say people
actually read all that though.

I have wriiten following simple function in postgresql

I am calculating distance from my current location with all available
regions(polygons) in my table.
I am using ST_Distance method for this.
My regions are stored with SRID = 900913.
Distance for point in Europe from USA region is coming as 122.78.
How come this possible. These regions are so far
