Hi,
I have a problem with proper collation of UTF-8 strings using PostgreSQL
version 9.2.4 under Debian Linux 6.0 with de_DE.utf8 (but en_US behaves
the same) locale:
CREATE TABLE test_collation ( q text );
INSERT INTO test_collation (q) VALUES ('aa'), ('ac'), ('a&b');
SELECT * FROM test_coll
I've got the postgres ODBC driver installed and can connect to it from
MS Excel 97. However it seems I can only execute queries (read data) but
not save data. Is that a limitation of Excel or of the ODBC approach?

from this sort
structure. We plan to keep the system on some sort of UNIX, but NT is not
totally out of the question.
Please respond to mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thank you
