have a database behind a firewall ... we'd like to make connections
available to that machine through a machine outside of the firewall, so
that its a secure connection to the "proxy", and in-secure from
proxy->database ...
the 'clients' will be written in java ...

Finally figuring that enough is enough, I've been spending the past few
days working on the list archives ...
I've reformatted, so far, the following lists into a cleaner format:
pgsql-interfaces
pgsql-jdbc
pgsql-odbc
pgsql-novice
Its been much much too long since I've upgraded Majordomo2 on the server,
so this is the last email I'm sending out prior to upgrading her today ...
if anyone notices the lists go suddenly quiet, or the way it works
changing, please let me know ...
My main worry is that in the past 6+ months, so
Barry just got some info back to me to create his account, so he should
also be online later tonight ...
