The text mode font engine is only designed for text mode video drivers,
which in all likelyhood you aren't using.
Even though you compiled in the BDF driver, it's still using the
freetype driver. Read README.configfile, it tells you how to
control this and how to set the font paths.

Hi i have discovered that my picoGUI has many problems
with fonts. I've tried, one per time, every font
engine engine in the list of Font menu in the
menuconfig. Only the Text Mode Font Engine compile &
run but i can't see any text!!
