I change my vote (if I have one) to foam disk. The ramifications and implications of
calling it
foam disk are numerous, and hopefully, will make PicoGUI take off like none other. I
think
ickygonkensneezeulator is good too, but that is just me :)

how about we name the releases after active #picogui participants. If anyone else

a good idea, I vote that that the .42 release be named LoneTech.
Anyway, just my two cents.

I noticed this too, but thought I was nuts. I am fine either way, as I noticed that
if one of the
items wasn't selected, it would return a zero. So I just put a few extra lines of
code in there
that would make it be ignored. (case 0: return 0;) Anyway, I prefer the old
behavior, as it is

These ideas are by no means completely solid. They might require
some munging, but this does give a paradigm shift for us to start

Is there a discount for people who have sent you assorted MIPS

Hmmm.. since mailing list ghosts seem to be magically appearing, I
shal as well. To my knowledge, there are several devices (not yet
handhelds, but close) that are completely open in the way things
should be, and nobody would try to sue. The best part is that one
these devices are hanging on the
Tim,
Original development of PicoGUI was done on a 486-33 laptop.
When Micah demonstrated it, it was more responsive to me than my
P-133 laptop in windows. He was using svgalib with gpm with
slackware. Odds are, you will get very nice machines out of the
deal.

Sean,
I am glad that you like my Hiaku error messages. Those messages
and a game are my only contribution to PicoGUI right now. Hopefully
I will be able to find the time to get into the server, and maybe
have answers to questions, but thanks for you comment. It made me
feel useful.

Making binaries for the Helio is as simple as a
recompile with the mips cross compiler. The only
thing that has been identified as not happy with the
Helio is the fact that 16 grays doesn't look too good,
so everything is black and white. Thus, the only
changes I have needed to make to m

Philippe,
Micah wrote the code that allows for orientation
rotation (90 deg anticlockwise) and you can rotate at
runtime. You can run it through this driver twice for
upside down and three times for 90 degrees clockwise.
Anyway, I have seen it and it looks very nice.
