The text mode font engine is only designed for text mode video drivers, which in all likelyhood you aren't using. Even though you compiled in the BDF driver, it's still using the freetype driver. Read README.configfile, it tells you how to control this and how to set the font paths. --Micah On F

Hi i have discovered that my picoGUI has many problems with fonts. I've tried, one per time, every font engine engine in the list of Font menu in the menuconfig. I've discovered the reason of the bugs, i hope! I've turned off bdf font system i get only the terminal font (?? i need to check name sorry:-)) and pgserver run, the reason is that when bdf is loaded in coudn't be founded and the font list is empty, so no font is loaded in the system and the server
