Hi,

I use the Neo2 keyboard layout (https://www.neo-layout.org/). It provides a.o.t. a layer (4) that has custom navigation keys, for instance one can press (thinking in terms of a regular layout) 'AltGr+s' for left, 'AltGr+f' for right and so on. This works on every single program I use, what makes it very convenient to me, since I don't have to reconfigure programs to accept shortcuts I'm used to.

Unfortunately this does not work in Pharo. For what it is worth, I tried it in Squeak, and it works there. IntelliJ IDEA also has this problem by default, what can be solved by checking "Settings -> Keymap -> Use national keyboards for shortcuts". Is someone aware of any workaround for Pharo? As I understand it, either it doesn't accept navigation keys produced by a modifier key, or modifier keys are mapped somehow differently than in my OS.

I'm using Debian 12 with Gnome 43.6 + wayland and Pharo 12.0.
