metacello trying to fetch git info about my git branch locally which I
tracked back to OSProcess not executing on my macos.

I vote for the complete removal of the Seaside chapter for several reasons
a) Its not a begineer orientated chapter as is the focus of this book
b) its not general purpose as is the focus of this book
c) far harder to keep
The best way to thank us, is to contribute. So put your code where your
mouth is and give a much needed helping hand. Suggestions and discussions
is all good , but nothing beats old hard work ;)

I have read that a metaclass (class side of the class) is initialised when
its loaded to the image by monticello, Are there any other cases when the

I completely agree with this is why I did not push it further I just
brought it to your attention.
In any case, I am fine with Slack and I rely mostly on this mailing list
anyway. I rather focus on coding for Pharo than worry about a chat system
