Did anyone see American Restoration the other night?
Rick had an Edison diamond disc C-19 that he restored for $4,500.00!

Years ago at a local auction I watched an Amberola 30 go for $750.00. A
few weeks later I ran into the winning bidder and we got to talking about
phonographs and I asked if he had any for sale. He said he had an Amberola 30
for sale and I responded (before I could edit my mouth from my brain
Greyhound bus is super cheap for big stuff, but you have to drop the item
off at the nearest depot and the buyer has to pick it up at their nearest
depot. They only insure up to $300.00. A few years ago I shipped a desk from
Fargo North Dakota to North Carolina and it cost under $70.00!

When I list on Craigslist I try to remember to say in the listing: "If you
are reading this listing the item is still available." Then when the item
sells I delete the listing the minute the buyer is gone with their item.

antique shop in Grafton, Wisconsin. He said he was looking for collection
Starting the bidding at $9.95 with no reserve can get a bidding frenzy
going which can help take the price to the moon. If he would have started at
$3,000.00 I am sure most of us would think he's nuts.
My question is what is the definition of "original condition" as it
pertains to an antique?
