That was pretty much the end of the story. I ended up re-restoring the machine
and it came out reasonably nice. The reason I shared that whole exchange was it
simply had to be read to be believed. I was stunned at the lack of rational
thinking, denial of responsibility, and borderline

So once again, eBay's Resolution Center proved to be the pathetic,
worthless joke it always is? I have never had even one single claim be met
with anything but form letters and messages from the utterly confused, much
less
and about 40
characters like ebay does.
