After reading a section in The Compleate Phonograph book it states
that Taiwan made authentic repros of the trademark berliner. Reiss
indicates that the only way to tell is by the screws and bolts which

In the matter of the Taiwan Berliners, identification is made simple because
there are numbers to look for. The spring case will be marked 34371 and the
sound box will be 18425. These repro Berliners appeared in the spring of 1976
and originally sold for $425. Hope this helps,
