[Phono-L] Model H Reproducer question

Hi All: I have a Model H reproducer with a top housing that has no printing on it other than the serial number. Can anyone shed info on this type of reproducer? I have seen them before but wasn't sure what the reason for this was. It is serial #C18226. It has the green lacquer finish as well.
