Steve,A true puzzle record is one that is recorded with multiple concentric grooves. These records look like normal 78s, except when you play them, you don't know what selection you will get - usually three to five different choices per side. Put the needle down - you might get an instrumental

Is there any significance to a maroon colored Amberol cylinder? A friend said he found one, and since he is a knowledgeable collector, I believe him when he says its unusual and unlike others he has seen over 40 yrs. - I haven't seen it yet. Any ideas?
