It simply cleans the surface of the years of grime.
I personally like it and think it works well for the above purpose.

I got the pictures but they are of the known advertisements in sessions
clocks.
As I said the clock is certainly old and original, but common and not very
valuable. It is the glass in the lower section that would add the value.
I remember a very similar clock on ebay a while back with an
mine from Jerry Madsen of the famous Baird Clock collector. Not
cheap.

Not sure why that went so high... someone clearly cut or removed the top off
the original cabinet and replaced it. So what is really original, the
motor???

I saw a VV-XXV go for $3,000 that look like a good deal and a Pathe Actuelle
upright for only $190, that was an even better deal.
Of course I was just looking on EBAY at the auction.

Does that crank go in too far to make it usable or unsightly as-is? If not
why not just leave it as is.
I had a table top VV-X that had the same problem. When I screwed the crank
on it simply moved the crank in 1/4, not enough to even make a difference
in the appearance.

Does anyone have the name, phone number, and email of the person I contact

I did this with a previous box and they sent a really nice certificate as to

Thanks,

This is obviously a frudualent auction. They are constantly on Ebay. I
