Hi Bill,

If you have both parts of the broken needle bar, a good jeweler ought to be
able to HARD solder the two parts together.  It would have more than enough
strength.  There are also some eyeglass frame repair places that can laser
weld.  That would be even better, I would imagine.  Either way, you should
be able to grind the joint smooth enough that it would not show after the
needle bar was painted.

I have a unusual machine, it a outside horn poly~luxus is whats on the
reproducer, it has two beveled glass panels, one on the front and one on the
left side, it had a thorens motor, I need a horn for it and also the
existing reproducer the needle bar is broken between the base and the screw
on the mica , is it possible to have this part rebuilt, it also has a tone
arm that looks very similar to a victor tone arm any ideas collectors??

Sounds very much like something put together in India.they often 
use/used beveled glass and Swiss motors.
