Hi, ..and Has anyone installed oracle 8i client on linux? When I start ./runInstaller, It says that it installs x.jde and hangs. There's a bunch of requirements that have to be met in order for the software installer to work. In case you're installing onto a remote machine, do you have XWindows running on your Linux machine? Does your terminal program support XWindows?
