[PHP-DB] mysql_errno?

2002-10-27 Thread Mehmet Ceyran
Hi,

I just looked at the function mysql_errno, where it says that
mysql_*-functions don't issue warnings anymore and that you have to
check for errors yourself... That's what I also want but is, for
example, the database is not reachable on a call to mysql_connect, the
function still triggers a warning itself.

Is there something I read wrong?

Greets,
Mehmet Ceyran

That may not include mysql_connect, just the functions you use after you
are connected. Or it could be a matter of your error_reporting level.

Use mysql_connect() to suppress the warning.
