Hi! I've finished a first version of the dbx module (database abstraction (in C)) and I want to open-source this module (as a self-contained extension). What license should I use? I want it to be very open, but maintain a copyright notice (much like the PHP license). Or better, can I donate this to the PHP group and get it distributed as part of PHP (I've seen mentions of selective packaging/downloading, so people wouldn't be forced to download it). Cheerio, Marc. BTW could I steal and modify the PHP license if necessary??? ;-) -------------------------------------------------------------------- The DBX License, version 0.01 Copyright (c) 2001 Guidance bv.
