I think RC1 is going quite well (with the exception of bcmath issues, I
believe?), so I propose putting out RC2 next week. If that one does just
swimmingly, we should be ready for the release.

I have no ideas how to fix it. Sascha? The problem was
introduced by the workaround fix you committed..
