Subject: [PHP-DOC] cfunction?
Hi!
One
This is a question for the php-dev people too.
What are the other hidden features not documented
like this?
Check the code. This is simply a legacy feature there only for backward
compatibility and should not be documented as we don't want people writing
new scripts that use cfunction.
We're there plans to rename the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
to [EMAIL PROTECTED], for consistency with the other mailing
lists? What ever happened to that idea?
Maybe an alias would be enough for the sort term.
The mail subject says: [PHP-DOC] :)

As I mentioned in my other message, $HTTP_SESSION_VARS value and the
global value used to be references, but after some people complained
about this fact on the list, it was changed.. I wouldn't mind
reinstating it, but if we do, let's do it once and for all with very
good reasons
Aha. This caused some really bad 'bugs' in the new PHP release...
I didn't know why it was bad... Please revert to the same method
as $HTTP_*_VARS use...
Excuse me? I'm quite confused by your message. Do you mean that
$HTTP_SESSION_VARS['foo'] and $foo should not be references to the

Huh? You're wrong here..PHP_SELF is found in HTTP_SERVER_VARS..

Title: RE: [PHP-DOC] Re: [PHP-DEV] Security?
But, I do think it would be worthwhile to go through these and add a
section to the documentation highlighting the pitfalls and explaining how
to avoid them.
There is a security chapter in the manual now...

Text diff is not working at Chora, at least with IE 5.00,
as it thinks that it needs to display XML content, and
just prints out an XML error. Just the Human readable one
works... :((

Please elaborate. Is this not working for any files,
or only specific files (with an XML extension)
Please include in 4.0.7:
- One actual browscap.ini (is still missed in 4.0.6)
- A versionless logo instead of the versioned one included in 4.0.6

Hi!
I would like to attend the second PHP Conference in
Frankfurt November 5-6-7. They have a low conference
price for university students like me, but the Hotel
bills are higher. I am searching for a cheap
accomodation for the time of the conference in
Frankfurt. If anybody can help me, please
Can the php-dev people give us some more in-dept about this subject?
Then we can put this up online.
Thanks,

This is, in fact, a false positive. None of the officially released PHP
files contain virii.
You could also just delete that file, unless you need the mhash functions.
IMHO, the php-dev people should put in a txt file to the
windows package, that this virus is not there, so people
wont try
Hi!
This is a feature request. I would like to ask you to include
the script above as a php_extensions() function or something
like this in the default PHP setup. This script is from php4win.de,
and a very useful piece of code to debug the script, maybe
it is as useful as phpinfo() is, as it
we were going to set up [EMAIL PROTECTED] at one point with a closed list
of
recieptients.. mainly core devs and a few QA People who can check out if
it
is a security problem or not.
Dont think this ever happen. Perhaps it would be an idea though

Hi!
Is anyone tested PHP on Windows XP?
If it is working correctly, we can add this
platform to the lists at downloads.php and in the manual.

Hi!
Please reverse my name in the PHPinfo() output. I am listed
in the PHP Website Team in the first place (alphabetical order).
Although I am listed as Hojtsy Gabor, my family name is Hojtsy
and my given name is Gabor. So the correct order is Gabor Hojtsy
for my name.
