One thing I've been thinking about recently is a desire for PHP to
provide a function whereby PHP scripts can log incoming variables (such
as $HTTP_POST_VARS) and the PHP scripts which process them. Such a
function can prove very useful in knowing what a particular user has
done.
Of course, not
there are several functions in the bookshop php_mhash making,
it possible to determine the hash of a string.
but it not possible to give the hash of a file.
I have just added this function to the bookshop php_mhash, and I will wish to
contribute this share to PHP.
What do I have to make?
mhash_file gives the hash your file
$file = /home/test.txt;
$td= mhash_init(MHASH_MD5);
$hash = mhash(MHASH_MD5,$file);
printf(-.bin2hex($hash));

What's the current status of OS X support? I understand that 4.3 will be the
first release to officially support OS X but how much of the work is

I grabbed the latest yesterday and compiled it -- still had my issues

I have the algos compiled into the mcrypt library (needed to have it work
with OS X) and get this when I try to compile the latest CVS pf PHP..
Just an FYI -- thanks!
/usr/local/download/php4/ext/mcrypt/mcrypt.c:222: warning: `MCRYPT_FAILED'
redefined
/usr/local/include/mcrypt.h:30: warning:
I just downloaded the alpha 4.3 from the website and get this :
./configure --with-pgsql --without-mysql --with-pdflib --with-mcrypt
--with-zlib --with-gd=/sw --enable-bcmath;make
snipped to the end
/bin/sh libtool --silent --mode=link gcc -export-dynamic -DPHP_ATOM_INC
I've the same problem with NT4 sp6a IIS.
When i used 4.2.3, i've no problem, but in 4.3.1, i've the problem !
But when i setup IIS to use ISAPI instead CGI, all work fine.
