From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Operating system: Redhat 7.0 PHP version: 4.0.6 PHP Bug Type: PostgreSQL related Bug description: Apache dies at startup Apache dies at startup: Used: apache-1.3.14 as RPM from REDHAT with dso support postgresql-7.1.3.tar.gz php4-200108311635.tar.gz and php-4.0.6.tar.gz and php-4.0.4pl1.tar.gz Installing steps for php4: /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/pgsql/lib export LD_LIBRARY_PATH ./configure --with-apxs --with-pgsql --enable-ftp --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf make make install cp php.ini-dist /etc/httpd/conf/php.ini /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start httpd says OK at startup /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd status httpd dead but subsys locked errorlog: [Sat Sep 1 00:52:21 2001] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down If i configure without --with-pgsql all works fine!
