I fully endorse this as a project for you to learn php better. Having
a project is the only way you'll learn.
Keep in mind however that there are already frameworks which do the same thing.
Check out cakePHP, or php on trax - the former AFAIK has better docs.

Hello,
I'm looking for people that like messing around with PHP and MySql. I've
started a project to help myself learn more about PHP, MySql. The program
basically takes database infomation (username, password, database name and
location) as input and then uses that info to create php scripts
