I'm using a system that uses shadow passwords, and I'm wondering if there is a way to make posix_pwnam go around that, so that all my passwords returned don't end up being 'x'. Is there a way to do this with posix_pwnam or another command? RIght now, I'm using an ugly hack, but would much rather use one function, whether or not the system involves shadow passwords.
