Although I don't do it (because it is a "backward" step for me in my
email client) I have no issue with top posing WHEN (and only when) it
is just a comment on the text below it.

I absolutely hate it when someone top posts referencing text below
and doesn't bother to integrate their comments with the text at
all. I.e. if they try and refer to a whole load of comments with one
mass block on-top. That's just plain lazy and is hard to follow.

But in the grand scale of things it's not half as annoying as some of
the things that carry on in this place :) (idiotic subscribers with
autoresponders, virus mails, attachments, inane questions that
blatantly haven't even tried looking at the manual, etc etc etc).
