i have to forbid users of my site to view images directly (i.e.
writing the image URL in the address bar) but they'd be able viewing
them from the pages of the site. What's the best way of doing it, or
something similar? Is there a common strategy using PHP? Thank you for

when i send a mail using mail(), every quote and double quote in the
subject and in the body of the mail get escaped. Since this is somewhat
ugly, especially in languages which widely uses the single quotes (as
italian does), i am wandering if there is someway to avoid this.

i've a self-defined class describing an user. In the login page i create an
instance of the user object and store it in $_SESSION['user']. When accessing
$_SESSION['user'] from other pages (of course I do require('user.php'); and
