To all who responded: Thank You! I realized something after I posted the message- I did a little research to clarify what I really need, and it boils down to this: I need a php installation that supports the GIF and JPEG-related functions (like ImageCreateFromGif), and it would also be nice if it offered Truetype support, so that I can use functions like ImageTTFText. I will check out the recommendations at this point.
