sorry for posting this here, I should probably look at the documentation, but i was just wondering what funcionality the PHP mcrypt extension provides. I think I read on this list that it does DES, does it do any RSA, or other crypto algorithms, the reason I ask is because I need to implement some encryption algorithm very quickly, just as an example, and I thought using the mcrypt, with possibly ready-made functions would be useful. any help appreciated.
