There is a very charming project "mynewsgroup" at mynewsgroup.sf.net, particularly it has beautiful looking. But that project seems no longer under development.
php.net itself is using a seperate project as web-gateway. I don't know if it has a homepage / downloadable somewhere.
I read a short review on hostscript on this topic: http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Usenet_Gateway/ There are many projects but none seems mutual.
What do you use for web-based usenet gateway?
