I need freetype2 and I did configure it ok, compiled freetype, gd2 but still I am getting a: function: imagettfbbox() not found Php did not complain about not finding freetype. Maybe php compiled with freetype 1 but how come? This drives me cracy! I did install php on several machines at home running the same operating system like my provider is offering. There is not in PATH the directory name (Php or php) Neither something related to Apache. In that case, you can look at your autoexec.bat. There is a variable (I think called path). Just make sure it's right. Hello Jason, you have been right, I did a new one on a fresh php untared dir. And the new php install is recognized. But I am still fighting with the installation. I need freetype2 and I did configure it ok, compiled freetype, gd2 but still I am getting a: function: imagettfbbox() not found Php did not complain about not finding freetype. Maybe php compiled with freetype 1 but how come? This drives me cracy! I did install php on several machines at home running the same operating system like my provider is offering.
