Hi, I learned only today that PHP 5.2.9 had been released on 2009-02-26 and fixed security vulnerabilities.
I've checked, and there was no ANNOUNCE email for this version, as can be verified here: http://news.php.net/group.php?group=php.announce I've come to rely on these useful email notifications to tell me when a new version is out, as I don't often check the site. Maybe someone forgot this time? Or something went wrong and it didn't get distributed?
