Also, try locate again now that it's been a day. I am completely new to MySQL and I just installed it on my RH 7.2 server and I cannot determine where the MySQL admin program is located so that I can set my password. Sorry for the basic question... If you installed from rpm's which ones did you install? From memory there's about four rpm's that you'll need to have everything. Mysqladmin, again from memory, is in one of the '-client' rpm's.
