Hi All, I am trying to build a "client interface" for each of my web-hosting customers, and would like to have them log into the system using the same username/password combinations that are used for FTP, email etc.
ie: those stored in the Unix system's passwd and shadow passwd files. I have seen a number of different methods for doing this, all of which seem a little messy. Obviously, the system allows you to do it - i have seen apache work with this file for example.
