have you tried the client script at http://php.ca/manual/en/ref.sockets.php ?? this seems to (kind of) work .. however i get a ton of warning messsages from php such as
"Attempting to connect to '202.14.186.30' on port '23'... Warning: socket_connect() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean Warning: socket_read() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given Warning: socket_write() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean Warning: socket_close() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean " not sure why might be different for you? cheers Kancha . wrote: > I'm in a smilar situation.
