[PHP] news.php.net -- will it work?

I used to read this list via the newsserver news.php.net.  It has been
down for a while: is the news service going to be restored eventually?

Jim Winstead is currently applying all sorts of magic pixie dust to this
thing.  It should be back up and better than ever in the next couple of
days.
