RE: [PHP] xtemplate windows

2003-01-26 Thread John W. Holmes
i try to run xtemplate on my windows machine but i get errors such
 like :

undefined index main...(main is the name of block !-- BEGIN: main
 --)

it seems it can not process blocks in template. theres no error in
 unix machine.

 does anyone knows the solution?

One solution would be to use Smarty. The other would be to try and find
an xtemplate list/forum and ask on there.

RE: [PHP] XTemplate

2002-12-01 Thread John W. Holmes
I'm looking for a way to seperate my HTML from my PHP and database
access
code, I pointed in the direction of XTemplate. After having had a look
at
XTemplate I'm not sure if it is current and stable under PHP 4 Is
it
 and
if it isn't is there something better to use?

I don't know how current XTemplate is, but Smarty is one of the most
popular template engines.
