Can you be more specific about what you mean by "I'm having a lot of
trouble passing the values in the first array to the second array"?

You have a lot more than two arrays, so we don't know which are the first
and second. And you are passing a lot of things around, so we don't know
where you are having problems. And we don't know what "having a lot of
trouble"  means. Are you getting an error message? Are your debugging
statements showing that incorrect data is being generated somewhere? Does
your dog start to yelp uncontrollably every time you run the program?
