That's not possible. The session is there, or it's not there. You cannot check if it WAS there. Sounds to me like a nice feature though! You can always make your own solution. Like...set a cookie which says that there is a session. If the session is gone, you can check that by checking the cookie and checking for a session. If the cookie states that there is a session, but there is no session, you know that it's gone.
