i have written ini_set(session.name, SID); before, in page1.php. and i've added it on page2.php before session_start and it works. thanks.. Murat Ö. I'm assuming there has got to be a better answer then this, but I found I had the same problem is I was using headers to go to the next page, but when I used the html tags then everything was fine (the SID wasn't getting passed).
