I ask about the TODO file because I've noticed that as user admin, I am able
to create another user account with only the ability to "reload cache",
however that user is still able to create other user accounts, with full
access. No big deal now, since there is no way to drop data from the GUI.
Plus, it defeats the purpose of even having a user access table.

I am sure it is just a yum install something, but I do not know what that
something is...

Getting gd on debian is as easy as apt-get install php(4|5)-gd. Dunno
about Fedora Core...

Hi Clayton;

Any plans on maintaining a TODO file?

Also, does anyone know how to install php-gd or a php with gd support under
FC4 or FC5? I am using php 5.0.4, which I got using yum.

Thanks!

Ahh, I bet you need trutype installed.
I must already have it
Here's what the jpgraph.php file says:
DEFINE('TTF_DIR','/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype/');

Take a look here:
http://www.snl.salk.edu/~cadams/jpgraph_docs/docs/html/2220fonts.html

I'll see about adding a check for it in the install

Excellent! I'm not sure if this is the best way, but here's what I did
to upgrade:
1. Read the README
2. Update the mysql tables as per the README
3. Manually merge the new config.php with the old one
4. redirect my apache server to the new php-syslog-ng-2.9.2 directory,
instead of the old php-syslog-ng-2.9.1; restart apache.
5. Login

A couple of notes.
Searching a date range works now (thanks!).

The formatting of the cisco event description pop up is MUCH improved!

The graphs don't work. I get the following error:

JpGraph Error Font file "/usr/share/fonts/corefonts/verdana.ttf" is not
readable or does not exist.

Indeed, the file doesn't exist. Any suggestions where to get said file?
I'm using debian now.
