Same problem on 2 different systems NT4+APACHE and WIN98+PWS. Php look for
msvcr70.dll, and never found it. I upgraded from 4.0.4pl1, that never
request this dll. I can see the request from filemon by sysinternals. I
searched on google, altavista, etc. but I didn't find any info.

Bingo (maybe). The problem is mssql70 dll. I use it on another server (IIS
4), so i can't imagine what's gone wrong. Removing extensions one by one,
that is the only one making Apache crashes.

I did very few changes to httpd.conf and php.ini (I removed semicolons from

When i run phpinfo() apache crashes. Application log says apache couldn't
find various MIB files, related to snmp extension, I think.
What do I need to use SNMP? Why PHP (or Apache) don't find such files?
Using PHP 4.0.4, NT 4 (SP 6), Apache 1.3.14.

This happens only if php.ini is in win nt folder.
Else i got no errors, but php doesn't load all the extensions.

I've got Apache and PHP on NT4. I'm getting errors from SNMP Extensions. The
Apache error.log says it couldn't find files like IF-MIB.txt etc.. These
files are in mibs folder. Why PHP can't see them?

I put the dll into the folder together with the .so files.
I don't remember the path but I think is something like
"/modules/php4apache.dll".
It could be a permission problem.

I need PHP to run a script in a directory located on a computer different
from the web server where PHP is. I added the remote directory as a virtual
directory in IIS. I can only see this:
"CGI Error
the CGI application misbehaved by returning an incomplete set of HTTP

I think "\r\n" should work.
