Hello Hannes.
When do the CHMs get pulled from oti1.php.net?
And when will they be mirrored by the mirrors?
The builds all ran fine last night, except for Persian (fa).

I've just converted all outstanding XMLs to UTF-8.
I won't be pushing all of them in 1 go ... tempted, but I think Hannes
and every translator would be screaming down my neck for that.
So. On Monday, I'll be pushing them through in very small chunks
(probably on a per language per extension basis).
I'll then look into a pre-commit hook for non UTF-8 encoded XML files.

tion but if there is a
need/requirement for the old style 2 CHM download, then that could be
done. This would only be worthwhile if the notes CHM was built more
frequently (the all.bz2 is produced every 2 hours) - seems like a lot
of effort for not a huge gain except for download size of the "with

This is very much fixed in trunk. I build my own CHM using the new
php.net styling.

Good luck and thank you for volunteering.

You do not need to have a php.net email address to make contributions
to the documentation.

Hello.
I'm a windows user.
Have karma for phpdoc and pecl/win32service.
Is there anything I can do to help on the CHM build front?
I build my own CHMs locally (and with the new web styling too). Quite
happy working with PHPDOC, PhD and the MS CHM builder.
Regards,
Richard.

If you are on Windows and need a GUI, then TortoiseSVN [1] is the tool
to use. If you like command line tools, then the SlikSVN command line
toolkit [2] is available. If you have Cygwin, then there is an svn
package available there too.

Richard.

seems IE is making a right pig of the new styling at the moment,
though in the CHM reader, things look quite good.

is unsupported by IE in the current form (just using CSS).

Hi.
[1] vs [2]
Not asking for a change or anything.

u are editing a page, you see all the history in 1 go. But when
the manual is built, the older sections are rendered into an archive
section. No need to actually move anything around.

Is the original documentation just wrong or was there a code change?
If there is a code change, then this needs to be clearly documented in
a Changelog section for obvious reasons.

Richard Quadling.
e -h/--help option exists for all commands/subcommands.
script.php --help
script.php command --help
script.php command subcommand --help
each will give appropriate help for the level being used (generic,
command and then subcommand).
Sub-commands and command-options can be used across any number of
"commands" and to any depth.
Obviously, a "package" isn't necessarily a "command" and PhD doesn't
use PEAR (except for CS).
But that's how PEAR handles this.
