All user notes are always read by a notes editor (and yes, having urls in
notes can be useful). However, I haven't received any e-mail with these
notes (or I would have deleted them already).

have a look at php.net/fopen, if the user notes are not deleted already,
you will see several spam comments at the top. Why are we turning urls
into hyperlinks in comments? There's no real use, and it's nice for
spammers and google bombers...
