Hi, thanks for your suggestion. It is a really nice idea. For now, until
we think if and how to implement this per-editor shortcuts, you could
manually edit your shortcuts to make them whatever you like.

Looks promising

2008-12-27 Thread DoxaLogos

Hello,

I just played around with PIDA a little bit on Kubuntu yesterday, and
I thought it was nice how you wrap python around VIM (or Emacs). It
puts a fresh face on older yet proven technology. I know this setup
has a ways to go, but I thought of something that might be useful. I'm
a VIM user, and I like the fact I don't have to use the arrow keys
much. So, it would be helpful when a user configured their PIDA to
VIM, that the ALT+ arrow keys for would be mapped to ALT + h,j,k,l
keys for vim users. I'm sure there are other key mappings that could
be changed make the vim user feel more at home, and they're are
probably corresponding Emacs keys too.

Just a suggestion!
