Hello,
Upon further investigation the following error was found to be reported
during manual execution of the administrator -> existing users sql queries:
ERROR 1055 (42000): Expression #3 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY
clause and contains nonaggregated column 'piler.email.email' which is
not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is
incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by
Adding *sql_mode = ''* to /etc/my.cnf resolved the syntax issue and
allowed for existing users to be reported via the Piler Administration
-> existing users
