You don't need black PVC pipe for this. The white stuff is thick enough to
be opaque, and you can easily paint the inside flat black.

The curling helped hold the film in place. I cut strips of cardboard to
fill the rest of the holder at the top bottom.The curl made it harder
to contact print until I was done for the night and put the negatives
away after 2hrs. Once I put them in sleeves they lined up pretty
