Does anyone know of any resources or have any iinformation on how to
build a pinhole camera using a window in a room?
The wet paper stain problem is common independent of size.
Best to dry the exposed positive before you apply the
developer.
Alternatively, cut the negative into manageable sections
(like 16 x 20) and you will be able to apply contrast
filters to each section according to the density of the

it makes any difference... does anyone know the range of
wavelengths that bw paper is sensitive to?
Both Ilford and Kodak have spectral sensitivity curves
been thinking about buying one of the
appropriate filters from Edmund Scientific and trying UV pinhole this
summer. Has anyone done it?

The Merlin-XD pinhole camera is made from a film developing
tank. Check the website for details,

Hello Mike,
The most basic developing tank / pinhole camera is the 35 mm film canister in
which 35
mm film is sold!
It's the cheapest one, too
thanks!
there have been pinhole cameras on every space flight due to
their unique ability to record high level energy events with

Hi all friends,
Happy Valentine!

eric, you can remove the silver from used fixer with
copper... some folks use sheets of it
the silver copper happily trade places, it's not really an
attack...
don't know about the other process you have in mind, though

there are always a few silver atoms in a used developer
solution but nowhere near the amount you would find in used
fixer
copper is, in fact, used as a test for silver content after
silver recovery to make sure the silver level is low enough
for disposal
Many thanks,
