Dan,
thank you. Bozeman is indeed one of the cities where I plan to stay
for a day or two. I will look for the labs.

Thanks to all who replied to my mail. This whole thing will obviously
not work the way I thought.
Okay, I decided what to do no. I will t
bracket your shots, and shoot more film to compensate. seems better than trying
to retrace steps and find the right lab.

Okay, I decided what to do no. I will take one of my Zeros, leave the
4x5" at home and take some extra shots if not sure of the exposure
time.

Hi Dieter,
If you do a little search on the web, you'll probably find all the
information that you need ahead of time.
One place to start of course if Google. If you type something like
"Colorado Commercial Photo Lab" you'll get probably too much information.
So you may try to type the City name
Since one can easily get large format slides done (E-6 of course) in two
hours at several places in Portland, I would think there's some
probability (50%?) that you could find at least one place in the bigger
towns in Montana or Wyoming. Colorado should be no problem, if you're

Hi:
Shoot black and white and process it yourself. You will have results in 30
minutes. If you use medium format you can load the film into a daylight
processing tank. Once the film is loaded in the tank, all the processing
can be done in the light.
You just need a small room that can be made d
your 4x5 camera.

the Zero cameras, like all commercial pinhole cameras, have an optimal
pinhole for the focal length.

Hi folks,
this may be somewhat off topic but I hope not too far :-).
I will be on a trip through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and South
Dakota in May and June.
While I will take photos mainly with my SLR-equipment, I plan to take
one pinhole camera on this trip. Did not decide yet, wether it will be
