Ian - I'm not sure what you mean. Changing the size of the pinhole, without question, changes the sharpness of the image, making it different, so niether of your assertions are correct. Eric Renner's book displays this with a series, and can tell you that this is the case from first-hand experie

I made two assertions; 1) that at a given extension you will get the same image regardless of pinhole size and 2) that the sharpness was the same for each image. I will stuck to the first and admit I'm on shakier ground on the second. I used TMax 100 4x5 film and shot a scenic, a saguaro cactus at
